There’s always something going on at The H, and we like to think our little pub punches well above its weight when it comes to entertainment. From lively live music nights and good natured quiz battles, to festivals, themed events and the occasional excuse for a party, our calendar is rarely quiet.
What really makes these nights special is the amazing support from our community. Locals, visitors, friends, and friends of friends all pile in, bringing plenty of laughter, questionable quiz answers, enthusiastic singing, and a brilliant atmosphere every time.
So whether you’re here to test your knowledge, tap your feet to some great music, or just enjoy a good night out with friendly faces, keep an eye on our events page. There’s always something worth popping in for… and if there isn’t, we’ll probably invent something soon.
2026 Events Calender
Our ‘Save The Date’ show calendar for 2026 is out now. We will publish more details including live music lineups for each event closer to the time. All of the old favourites are back as well as a couple of new additions to the calendar. We will post details to our facebook page as well as this events page and blackboards around the building.
We have got an amazing lineup for ‘Hartley Live’ this year. We can’t wait for that one!

Following on from the quiz night, Josie has organised a charity bingo night for the same great cause.

Turn up and enter your cheese into the vote for cheese of the month. Loads of cheese and nibbles to try on the night. Prizes for monthly winners.
